Kip Janvrin
Current Co-head T&F coach at Central Missouri State University
and one of the top ranked athletes in the decathlon in the world. Kip
was the 2001 National champion and a member of the 2000 Olympic Team in
Sidney. Also competed in 96 and 04 Olympic Trials. He holds the record
for most career decathlon wins and the American record for most times
over 8,000 points. As coach at CMSU his teams have won 10 MIAA team
titles and produced several national champions and has been named USTCA
national indoor COY.
Steve Kissane
Head boys and girls CC coach at Columbia Hickman since 1984, 4A state
champion team in 1998, 14 state qualifying teams finishing in the top 5
seven times, 19 All-State runners with a 2 time state champion. Was
also head boy’s track coach from 85-89, head girl’s coach from 87-89 and
served as an assistant since 1989. In track he had 38 All State
athletes including 4 boys under 4:17 in the 1600. He as also served as
a College Meet Official, clinician at several clinics and author of
several articles on cross country and track. The current
President-Elect for MTCCCA. University City HS and SEMO graduate.
Jim Marshall
Head track coach at North Calloway from 1981-1985, where
he had two state champions, and Head Cross Country coach at Jefferson
City since then where he also serves as an assistant track coach. His
cross country teams have earned 27 district titles and 15 state
trophies, including two state champion teams, and 27 All-State runners.
Jim has Level II certification in the distance events and a three time
MTCCCA COY. Now serving MTCCCA as Vice President, he is a graduate of
Ritenour HS and SMS.
Jim Schmuck
Began CC programs at both McCluer North and Parkway South and
the Track program at Parkway South. In CC he has had 16 All-State
athletes, 1 state champion, and he has had 4 top 4 team finishes. In
track he has coached 98 All-State athletes, 4 state champions and he has
had 5 top 10 finishes. Has authored several articles on both track and
cross country and been a clinician at several clinics including the
National Federation of High Schools. Past President of the MTCCCA and
past nominee for national coach of the year.
Del Stoltenberg
Rock Port HS T&F boys coach. Seven state team titles plus four
other top 4 finishes, 33 state champions. Multiple times MTCCCA COY.
National finalist for NHSACA COY. Fourth among active coaches in the
number of state medalist coached and second among active coaches in the
number of state champions coached. |
